Who We Are

This policy covers caluta.moe. Other domains are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

caluta.moe is run by an unregistered, individual entity based in Italy.

We don't have a formal Data Protection Officer appointed.

We do not even have a legal team; this Privacy Policy was all written by the Webmaster by hand and with no help from outside because help costs money.

What Information We Collect

caluta.moe collects the following information:

• IP addresses and user-agent strings; those are temporarily stored for the sake of network security.
• Cookies; see the section about cookies.
• Currently no other information is processed on caluta.moe.

The team also collect this information from other sources about you, for the access to the Discord server, but it is not necessary to access caluta.moe:

• Age group
• Affiliation with other Discord servers

Legal Basis

The legal basis for data processing are:

• Legitimate Interest: we process some data to ensure enhanced security for the website.
• Providing of a Service: some of the cookies are essential for us to serve some portions of the website, (for example those accessible via login only).

Who Receives Data

Data received usually stays within Caluta and its moderation team.

Our hosting partner (see Where data lives section) may also have random access to our data.

Discord has full and unrestricted access to data shared within the Discord server (see Third Party Content section).

We do the best to not have our data seized or shared with governments. But sometimes, it's inevitable.

In particular, we share data with local and international law enforcement if one of our users commits acts related to child abuse or terrorism. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards those kind of offenses.

Data Safety

caluta.moe currently stores no sensitive data.

Where data lives

Data received by caluta.moe is stored in servers in Italy, provided by our hosting partner, Aruba.it.

Data received by Discord is stored on servers of Discord, with jurisdiction in the United States of America. and shared with third parties according to their privacy policy (see Third Party Content section). Yes, I agree it sucks.

Retention

Data about traffic (IP addresses and user agent strings) is usually deleted within three months.

Your Rights on the data

Your rights on the data include, free of charge:

• Rectification or deletion of your personal data
• Restriction on the processing of your personal data
• Object to the processing of your personal data
• Withdraw your consent to us processing your data, at any time
